Melodie Parker is a licensed clinical social worker who has been providing counseling and psychotherapy to the community for over twenty years.
Her experience includes admissions, assessments, treatment planning, crisis intervention, and short and long term therapy, to individuals, couples, and families. Target areas include depression, anxiety, stress, communication, work issues, sexual identity, PTSD, and counseling to law officers.
Melodie was an adjunct Professor at Fordham University at the graduate level for five years ('95-'99), and she has supervised both social work students and social workers.
She holds a BS is in psychology from Saint Thomas Aquinas College. Ms. Parker has a Master's Degree in social work from Fordham University.She is licensed in the state of NY and became a Board Certified Diplomate in 2004.
